Description

This complete AR550 static target package contains absolutely everything you will need aside from a wood 2×4. It contains our extremely sturdy static target stand along with our simple and easy-to-use static target hanger. Includes all the necessary mounting hardware:  1/2″ carriage bolt and lock nut, a proprietary compression spring, and a 1/2″ 12″x20″ static target.

Minor assembly is required with this product. All of our stands and hangers are designed to accept 1/2″ hardware (included) which will require you to use power or hand tools to tighten. Wrench/socket size for 1/2″ hardware is 3/4″, and adjustable wrenches may be used as well.

We rate our AR550 Static Target for the same distances as our AR500. AR550 is significantly harder, and mitigates the ‘pitting’ effect better than AR500. This is especially noticeable with higher velocity rounds, such as .223/5.556 NATO. For more information, check out our article “AR500 Vs. AR550. What’s the Difference?”.
